If you have forgotten your PIN Code or if your card is blocked because you have entered an incorrect code three consecutive times, your municipality’s administration can give you a new PIN Code. In order to do so, you have to bring with you :
Besides the PIN Code (the private identification number), the letter contains the PUK Code (the activation code) that the civil servant of your municipality’s administration will use in order to make your card usable again and/or to give you another PIN Code.
If you do not have your PUK or PIN Code anymore, you can ask for a reprint of your PIN/PUK code to your municipality’s administration or via the site http://www.ibz.rrn.fgov.be/fr/documents-didentite/eid/demande-dun-code-pin/. The codes will be sent to your municipality’s administration within 15 days.
